مقایسه‌ی عملکرد تحصیلی دانشجویان کارشناسی ارشد استعداد درخشان، ممتاز با عادی در دانشگاه شهید بهشتی

چکیده

هدف: با توجه به اینکه در ایران ارائة تسهیلات به استعدادهای درخشان و ممتاز مورد توجه قانون‌گذار بوده است و نهادهای مختلف هم‌چون آموزش عالی ملزم به ارائة تسهیلاتی به استعدادهای درخشان و ممتاز هستند، بررسی عملکرد آن‌ها به‌عنوان بروندهای سیستم جذب و انتخاب کنونی ضروری به‌نظر می‌رسد. مطالعة حاضر با هدف مقایسة عملکرد تحصیلی دانشجویان کارشناسی ارشد استعداد درخشان و ممتاز با عادی در سه جزء عملکرد تحصیلی در دورة کارشناسی ارشد یعنی عملکرد آموزشی، عملکرد پژوهشی و ارتقاء علمی صورت گرفته است.
مواد و روش‌ها: این مطالعه از نوع پس رویدادی است. برای جمع‌آوری داده‌ها از پرسشنامة محقق‌ساخته استفاده شده است که روایی و پایایی آن مورد تأکید قرار گرفت و داده‌ها با استفاده از نرم‌افزار SPSS مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفت. هم‌چنین معدل اکثر دانشجویان فوق‌الذکر از طریق معاونت آموزشی و دفتر استعداد درخشان به دست آمد و با استفاده از SPSS در کنار داده‌های پرسشنامه مورد تجزیه و تحلیل قرار گرفتند. نتایج آزمون T نشان‌دهندة تفاوت معنی‌دار عملکرد آموزشی و پژوهشی دانشجویان کارشناسی ارشد استعداد درخشان و ممتاز در مقابل دانشجویان عادی است. در زمینة ارتقاء علمی تفاوت معنی‌داری بین این دو گروه مشاهده نشد. نتایج آزمون تحلیل واریانس نشان‌دهندة تفاوت معنی‌دار معدل دانشجویان استعداد درخشان علوم پایه، علوم انسانی و فنی و مهندسی با دانشجویان عادی علوم پایه و فنی و مهندسی است. بین معدل دانشجویان ممتاز فنی و مهندسی با دانشجویان عادی علوم انسانی تفاوت معنی‌داری به دست نیامد. بر عکس در عملکرد پژوهشی تنها بین دانشجویان استعداد درخشان و ممتاز فنی و مهندسی و علوم انسانی با دانشجویان عادی علوم انسانی تفاوت معنی‌داری به دست آمد. و عملکرد دانشجویان استعداد درخشان و ممتاز فنی و مهندسی و علوم انسانی برتر از دانشجویان عادی علوم انسانی بود. بین عملکرد ارتقاء علمی به تفکیک دانشجویان و دانشکده‌ها، تفاوت معنی‌داری به دست نیامد.
بحث و نتیجه‌گیری: هر چند به صورت کلی در مقایسة دو گروه استعداد درخشان، ممتاز با عادی تفاوت معنی‌داری بین عملکرد پژوهشی و آموزشی وجود داشت، اما در مقایسة‌هایی که به تفکیک دانشکده‌ها صورت گرفت، مشخص شد که در عملکرد پژوهشی هیچ تفاوتی بین دانشجویان استعداد درخشان، ممتاز با عادی دانشکده‌های فنی و مهندسی و علوم پایه وجود ندارد. هم‌چنین تفاوتی در عملکرد ارتقاء علمی بین همة گروه‌های دانشجویان مشاهده نشد.

چکیده [English]

Purpose: Offering facilities to gifted, talented and honor students has been considered by laws in Iran and various institutions and organization such as universities have been required to provide facilities and services to these individuals. As a result, it is necessary to study performance of gifted and talented as an outputs of recruitment and selection system. The Purpose of the research is comparison of academic performance of talented, honor and regular post graduate students at Shahid Beheshti University. Academic performance is divided in to three parts: educational performance(GPA), research performance and academic promotion performance
Materials and methods: This study is retrospective. Data were collected by researcher made questionnaire and, analyzed by SPSS. Also, the majority of student’s GPA were obtained through the Department of Education and were analyzed as well.
The results: Result of Independent T test show significant differences between talented, honor students and regular students in educational and research performance. Talented and honor students had better performance. In academic promotion wasn’t significant difference between two groups. Results of one-way ANOVA showed significant differences between the grade point average of talented and honor students with regular students at science, humanities and engineering faculties. Between GPA of talented and honor students of engineering and regular students of humanities weren’t significant difference in GPA. Conversely, the only significant difference in research performance was between talented and honor engneering and humanities students with regular humanities students. In other words, the research performance of talented and honor students at humanities and engineering faculties was better than regular humanities students. Results showed no difference in academic promotion between faculties.
Results and discussion: Although, the performance comparison between two groups of talented, honor and regular students showed that talented and honor students were better in research and educational performances, comparison between faculties demonstrated that there were no differences between talented, honor and regular students at engineering and science faculties in research performance. There was no difference between two groups of talented, honor and regular students in academic promotion between faculties.
