The examination of elevation of west Azerbaijan electric distribution company employees on the basis of EFQM model

Abstract

The purpose of this this study was to apply the (EFQM) to the Human Resource Management of Power Dispatching Company in the WesternAzarbaijanProvince. Statistical population in this study included all managers and experts of the company. A random sample of 70 was approached for data collection. A questionnaire was administered to the sample with a Cronbach's alfa coefficient of 0.98. T-test and one-way ANOVA were used for data analysis.   Results showed that planning, management, recovery criterion of human resources was well below average. Employees’ knowledge and competence recognition were about average. Employees’ participation in organization problems were about average. Organization and employees mutual contact were low. Whereas staff recognition and encouragement were high. Regarding to results managers must pay more attention to planning, management, human resource recovery and mutual interaction between organization and employees.
