[English]

The present study aimed to investigate relationship between emotional intelligence and organizational citizenship behavior orientation, and also to determine relative contribution of emotional intelligence domains (regulation of emotion, utilization of emotion and appraisal of emotion) in anticipating organizational citizenship behavior orientation. Research method was descriptive-correlative and statistical population consists of 980 high school teachers in Zanjan, 278 of whom were selected randomly according to Morgan´s table, considering the share of each category. To collect data, two questionnaires were used: 1) the Schutte et al. Emotional Intelligence Questionnaire (1998) and 2) Moghimi's organizational citizenship behaviorquestionnaire (2005). Findings showed that there is a positive and significant relationship between emotional intelligence and its domains with organizational citizenship behavior orientation. Likewise, findings showed that domains of emotional intelligence (regulation of emotion, utilization of emotion and appraisal of emotion) predict organizational citizenship behavior orientation.
