A questionnaire was administered to a stratified random sample of middle school students in district 4 of Qom province. Results indicated that there was a relationship between educational factors and dropout of students.  Also there was a relationship between reward and punishment, low attention to individual differences, and inappropriate learning environment with dropout of students.
