Objective: The field of civil engineering is one of the most popular fields today and its graduates have many responsibilities in the construction and development of the country, and therefore it is necessary to consider the curriculum of the field leading to the desired results. Accordingly, the purpose of the study was to identify the desired results of the undergraduate curriculum in the field of civil engineering and to evaluate the current status of the undergraduate curriculum.Materials and Methods: The research approach is a sequential exploratory combination of instrumentation. The research method for the qualitative section was phenomenological and for the quantitative section was a survey. The data collection tools for the qualitative section were semi-structured interviews and the quantitative section was a researcher-made questionnaire. The statistical population of the qualitative section was the faculty members of the civil engineering department of the relevant university, and the quantitative was 120 people of civil engineering graduates during the years 1394 to 1397. In the qualitative section, to study the issue in depth, all members of the mentioned faculty (12 people) were interviewed and in the quantitative section, the statistical sample size was determined based on the Krejcie and Morgan table, 92 people. To analyze the qualitative findings, categorization and for the quantitative information analysis, SPSS software has been used.Discussion & Conclusion: Results: The results of the civil engineering curriculum at three levels of product, output, and outcome have been reviewed. Findings showed that from the point of view of the interviewees, the civil engineering curriculum should have results such as mastery of basic knowledge, principles, and foundations of civil engineering, ability to design, monitor and execute civil projects, ability to analyze engineering, ability to work with applications at the product level; results such as finding a job related to the field, employers' satisfaction and tendency to continue education at the output level; and results such as improving the quality of public life and social welfare, energy consumption management and management and control of man-made disasters and natural disasters at the outcome level. According to the graduates, the results of the civil engineering curriculum in all three levels of product, output, and outcome are far from the desired situation. Therefore, it can be concluded there is a difference between the desired situation that the interviewed professors considered regarding the civil engineering curriculum’s results and the current situation of the field from the viewpoint of the graduates.

Objective: Career path is one of the activities of human resource managers that by finding the path of progress of each person in his work life leads him to perfection. This, in turn, leads to higher job satisfaction, professionalism, and effectiveness. The main purpose of this study was to design a model of an internal career path among faculty members of Urmia University.Materials and Methods: To achieve this goal, a qualitative approach and content analysis methods were used. The research population of professors of Urmia University was selected in 1398 which had scientific and executive records, as well as familiarity with the field of behavioral sciences and management. Based on the theoretical saturation of data, 23 of them were studied face to face. To collect the data, a semi-structured interview method was used. The data obtained from the interviews were analyzed using qualitative software (Maxquda18) in the form of open, axial, and selective codes. Open codes included 80, axial codes included 10, and selective codes included 4 formed as the main dimensions and components of the internal career path of faculty members; finally, the desired model of the internal career path of faculty members was presented.Result and discussion: From this perspective, the internal career path of faculty members has 4 dimensions and 10 components including professional abilities (educational ability, research ability, and managerial competencies), teamwork competence (interaction and cooperation), knowledge (professional knowledge of the field, organizational knowledge, knowledge specialization strengthening), and personality traits (individual abilities, positive attitude, innovation). Based on the findings of the study, it can be concluded that having a career path will be a ground for success and it can have many effects on the individual and organizational life of faculty members. The dimensions of the internal career path and paying attention to them will lead to the development of long-term professional development programs for faculty members, which will lead to higher promotion and pave the way for faculty members.

Objective: The main purpose of this article is to reflect on the scientific achievements of educational management academic members in Iranian public universities with an emphasis on recognizing their research orientations.Materials and Methods: To achieve this goal, the documentary research method of systematic review was used for the content analysis of research-based articles conducted by academic members. After visiting the personal page of about 170 faculty members affiliated with groups in the field of educational management, including the department of educational sciences, and by purposeful sampling method (with the criteria of having a doctorate in educational management, educational planning, higher education, education), 2440 articles published by 76 educational management academic members were analyzed. In general, the data obtained in terms of the annual distribution of the frequency of articles published during the years 1987 to 2018, the share of academic members as "corresponding author" or "co-author", the rate of articles published nationally and internationally, the methodological approach (quantitative, qualitative and mixed) of the published articles and finally the thematic orientation of the published articles in different thematic areas and levels of general education, higher education and organizational education management were analyzed by open and axial coding method. To provide credibility in the research, the techniques of maximum description, researcher self-review, peer review (expert), and research audit were used.Result and Discussion: The findings indicate a sudden acceleration and increase in the number of articles published during the last ten years, especially between 1992 and 1996; one of the main reasons can be attributed to the significant growth of graduate courses and the revision of the regulations of universities faculty members’ promotion with emphasis on increasing scientific productions. In addition, the results showed about 60% of research articles, professors of educational management have the role of corresponding author, and the thematic orientation of professors to educational management is more focused on the level of higher education with 46% and general education (education) with 33% and organizational training with 18%. A comparison of the share of educational management professors in publishing articles in domestic and foreign journals indicates very low participation of educational management professors at the international level (13%), especially in reputable journals compared to domestic journals (87%) is significant. In addition, the tendency to use quantitative approaches, especially correlational and survey research methods (74%) has affected the quality of published articles far from the idea of active knowledge production.

Objective: The first objective of the present study is to identify the categories and concepts of knowledge commercialization for making a conceptual model. And the second goal is to test the model empirically.Materials and Methods: The present study was conducted with a mixed exploratory strategy. Participants in the study were heads, department heads and university professors, specialists from university growth centers, and science and technology parks in Guilan province. To conduct the research, in the qualitative stage, 30 people were selected using purposive sampling and in the quantitative stage, 230 people were selected as the research sample by stratified random sampling. In the qualitative stage, the samples were interviewed in depth to achieve theoretical saturation and in the quantitative stage, participants were asked to answer the research questionnaire. The grounded theory method was used to analyze the qualitative data and the structural equation model method was used to analyze the quantitative data.Discussion and Conclusion: In the qualitative stage, using inductive content analysis of interviews and the systematic approach of Strauss and Corbin during the three stages of open, axial, and selective coding, 146 primary concepts, 23 secondary concepts, and 9 major categories (intellectual capital, academic productivity, policies and organizational capabilities, the institutionalization of commercialization, context building, networking (networking orientation), knowledge creation, competitiveness (knowledge commercialization) were extracted. Obtained from the open coding stage in the form of causal conditions, pivotal phenomena, contextual factors, intervening factors, strategies, and consequences were linked in a paradigmatic pattern. Then the conceptual model of the research was presented. In the quantitative stage, the identified components and indicators were analyzed by the structural equation method. The result of the second-order confirmation model’s fits (reported chi-square value, chi-square value divided by degrees of freedom less than 3, and comparative fit index more than 0.9), and factor load results (lambda coefficient) of all variables are obviously higher than 0.4 which indicates the empirical model is desirable.

Objective: Nowadays, teamwork in higher education institutions is considered one of the best strategies for the interaction and participation of students in the learning process as well as the development of their communication skills. While recognizing the benefits of teamwork can create a positive understanding among faculty members, and students, some factors can prevent the creation of teamwork and cause a low desire to work in a team in the academic system. These factors can also reduce its benefits and positive effects. Therefore, the purpose of this study was to identify the challenges related to teamwork among students.Materials and Methods: To achieve this purpose, a qualitative approach by deductive qualitative survey method was used. A total of 142 students of educational sciences from Alzahra and Malayer Universities were included who had teamwork experience during academic life. Thus, the researcher selected 114 of them by purposive sampling from the type of criterion method and based on the criterion of having experience in teamwork. The research tool was an open-ended questionnaire based on teamwork theory which was designed in Google Form. The data were analyzed by the deductive content analysis method. To validate the findings, a peer-checking method was used.Result and Discussion: Findings showed that teamwork challenges in the students' academic activities can be divided into eight main components and seventeen sub-components including adaptability challenge (non- adaptability with team rules and regulations, resistance to changes, lack of knowledge about each other, and resistance to team opinions), backup behavior challenge (lack of cooperation of team members in distributing work pressure, inappropriate distribution of work among team members), performance supervising challenge (disapproval of mutual supervision, acceptance the supervision of team just by leader, lack of existence of mutual supervision), team orientation challenge (priority of individual goals over team goals), team leadership challenges (incompetence of team leader, lack of existence a leader in team, disobedience of members from team leader), mutual trust challenge (lack of mutual trust between team members), shared mental models challenges (lack of shared understanding of team tasks), closed-loop communication challenge (lack of interaction and communication between team members, lack of exchange of information between team members). Based on the research findings, if we want to use teamwork in students’ academic activities, we require more participation of faculty members by developing instructions for doing teamwork, assessing students' readiness to do teamwork, and determining the exact objectives of teamwok.

Objectives: The present study aimed to develop a hybrid model in the form of a balanced scorecard, hierarchical analysis process, and systems dynamics to evaluate the performance of Hormozgan University.Materials and Methods: In terms of methodology, this research is applied research in terms of purpose and it is a descriptive survey in terms of research method. The statistical population of this study included faculty members, managers, and experts in the field of performance evaluation. Documentary and field methods have been used to collect data. The sampling method is purposive random sampling. In the first step, the factors and components affecting the performance evaluation of Hormozgan University in the dimensions of the balanced scorecard were defined. Then, in the second step, the weights of the criteria and sub-criteria were determined by the method of the hierarchical analysis process. Accordingly, the five indicators that had more implications for improving university performance, including the quality of research in terms of "research, innovation and technology", student satisfaction in terms of "customer", the competitiveness of the university in terms of "growth and learning" and service improvement in terms of "internal processes" were selected as the most important indicators of performance evaluation. In the third step, modeling and simulation of factors and components of university performance evaluation were performed by using the systems dynamics method and Vensim software.Discussion and Conclusion: The results showed that the indicators of research quality, ranking, competitiveness and service quality had an upward trend with a medium slope, which is expected to continue until the end of the simulation period of this trend with an increasing slope. Also, based on the simulation results, the indicators of increasing research opportunities for professors and the percentage of technology usage in terms of internal processes, increasing the budget for education and welfare and research facilities in terms of finance, and increasing the number of faculty recruited in terms of internal processes were introduced as improvement policies.
